The short version: Yamanote Rush doesn't collect your personal data. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking. We're too busy getting trains to stop on the mark.
The game saves your progress on your phone or tablet: best scores, your stamp book, daily run results, and settings like sound and train paint. It never leaves your device, and it's deleted when you delete the app.
On iPhone and iPad, Yamanote Rush uses Apple's Game Center for its daily leaderboard. On Android it uses Google Play Games. If you're signed in, your score for the day's run (your first go only) is posted to that day's leaderboard, where other players can see it next to your Game Center or Play Games name.
Apple and Google run these services under their own privacy policies (Apple, Google). We never receive your name, player ID or contact details, and we don't run any servers of our own.
Signing in is optional. Without it, everything works except the leaderboard.
You can play fully offline. The game only goes online to reach Game Center or Play Games while you're signed in.
Yamanote Rush is for all ages. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If anything here changes, we'll update this page and the date below.
